Sanding Ovations Treasure Island
Come see Treasure Island’s beach come to life at the 2023 Sanding Ovations event scheduled Nov. 16-19, 2023. See what happens when master sculptors use their imaginations and turn piles of sand and buckets of water into “outSANDing” works of art. Best of all, this year’s event will extend into a second weekend, Nov. 25 & 26, 2023.

Siesta Key Crystal Classic
24 artists converge on Siesta Key to compete in an amazing Master Sand Sculpting competition. The sculptors create a large community carve, 8 solo sculptures and 8 team sculptures. On Saturday evening, enjoy the sculptures under colored lights after sunset. The timed competition is judged and the winners are revealed on Sunday afternoon.
Come and vote for your favorite sculpture until Monday at 5 PM by wooden tokens (available for purchase) so you can help determine the Peoples' Choice award. People’s Choice Award will be announced on Tuesday, November 14, online on our website and our Facebook page.
There are other attractions at this festival: The Learning Curve - sand sculpting lessons and demonstrations are hosted multiple times daily, Fri - Sun; 4 days of live bands under the huge entertainment tent; Quick Sand - an ongoing contest of speed and skill; plus, the Amateur Competition on Saturday.
Also, the Barefoot Beach Bar Party Tent is open all 4 days with music and a full bar- no entry fee.
Vendor Village surrounding Sand Village features 80+ retail vendors and 5 food trailers which are all open to the public.

September Artist: Jah Movement
The winner of Manasota Honors 2021 Musical Artist of the Year, reggae band Jah Movement features a glorifying sound where individual talents of each member come together. Highlighting the talented ensemble is hometown hero and vocalist extraordinaire Shantel Norman. Adding their own touch of R&B, soul and funk to some of the best live reggae music, Jah Movement has won the hearts of many across the Suncoast and creates a show that can’t be missed.

TEN-76 is a powerhouse high energy band that covers classic and modern rock. From the Lakewood Ranch homebase, TEN-76 regularly plays many of the local venues and are expanding in the Southeast Region. They have volunteered their time and entertainment for charities (ex. Breast Cancer, Fire Victims, Veterans, First Responders, and Children in need) to help raise funds and awareness.

July Artist: One Night Rodeo
One Night Rodeo is an American contemporary country band. Thirteen years and over 2,000 performances in their career has prepared One Night Rodeo for their own launch into Country music stardom. Opening for superstars such as Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban and Montgomery Gentry is nothing new to this group of seasoned musicians who worked long and hard to get here.

Freedom 500 and Cleetus & Cars
Friday March 31st, Get ready for the Freedom 500 Presented by Summit Racing Equipment! Watch as Cleetus, along with your favorite automotive influencers, and professional drivers race 20 nitrous equipped Crown Vics for 100 laps around our home track, the Freedom Factory. We've gone out and purchased a new fleet of Crown Vics, added nitrous to them, roll cages, and some fresh Nitto tires. So come on out and watch your favorite automotive and YouTube influencers take part in a wild race around the 3/8 asphalt oval.
Saturday, April 1st, we'll be burning rubber and popping tires for Cleetus & Cars, the GREATEST Burnout Competition in the USA!

Music In The Park
Music in the Park series returns to the Bradenton Riverwalk Mosaic Amphitheater EVERY Friday starting on March 24th-May 5th! The event is from 6pm-8pm and it’s FREE! Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs—and their furry companions on leashes are welcome.

Cortez Commercial Seafood Festival
The Cortez Commercial Fishing Festival celebrates our fishing heritage with a mix of great live music, nautical arts and crafts, children’s activities, environmental exhibits, delicious seafood, and, of course, cold beer! It’s a party with a purpose, since ALL proceeds benefit the FISH mission and the FISH Preserve! Fill up, Boogie down, and stroll our aisles of local artists and vendors. Visitors can bid on boats lovingly restored by the FISH Boatworks, wander one of the last true working waterfronts in the state, and immerse themselves in local history at the Cortez Cultural Center and Florida Maritime Museum.

Tampa Christmas Lights Parade & Festival
The 2022 Santa Fest returns to Curtis Hixon followed by the annual Tampa Tree Lighting.
The parade steps off at 1 p.m. beginning at Morgan Street and Madison Street. It travels west on Madison Street to Ashley Drive, turns north and ends at Ashley Drive and Cass Street. Best viewing is along Madison Street.
After the parade thru downtown, come by Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park for Santa Fest entertainment and activities 1-4 p.m. Stay for Tampa's Tree Lighting ceremony at 6-6:30 p.m. See Mayor Castor and Santa Claus light up the tree before the movie starts at 6:30 p.m.
